Christmas Eve

Wow! Today is 24th of Decembre, almost there!! It has been four months living in this huge country. It is being a crazy experience, although it is very nice too. It is difficult be as far away as I am from my family, but I think I am doing well, because I am trying to not be very homesick. I am very focus in the reality here, what I am and what do I have to do. Let´s be honest, this is so exited and the cultural exchange is wonderful, but like home there is no place on Earth ;) I hope we will do something fun this afternoon! I am ready for this holiday!

Christmas is here!

Yes, I´m right! Christmas is almost here! Fantastic house decorations with thousands of coloured lights every night showing all their wonderful shiny colours. This is the time of the year that everyone is full of happiness and blessings for the new year that is coming! This year Christmas for me are a littel bit different, as you know I am living pretty far away from home, but it is still exited because this year is completely such a big experience that involves everything! My family and I are planning a trip to Wisconsin, two days driving, although I think it will be fun because then we will visit Chicago in Illinois and we will have the New Year Eve´s dinner, and this is so Awsome! Let´s see and wait for all the adventures, I hope they will come soon :)

Thanksgiving Break!

I was so exited for this trip to the capital of the rain. It is my favoutite ever! I am in love with it. First we went to our hotel to leave the suitcases and all the stuff and prepare ourselves to an amazing journey in this city. Everyday we went to better and better restaurants to have lunch and dinner, and of course, desserts! :P Do you know that Seattle has a huge treadmill in its harbor? Oh my gosh, yes! It is amazing and the view it is wonderful, you can see many skyscrapers and the multicultural monuements that this city has. Then we went to Portland for the Thaknsgiving dinner and I never had eaten as much food that I ate that day in my entire life! Now I am going to write in English because I want to keep precticing! Mi primer día en América.

Quiero empezar diciendo que cuando aterrizó el avión en el aeropuerto de Nueva York estaba tan emocionada que no podía parar de sonreír a todo el que me encontraba, no sé si pensarían mal de mí, pero yo lo hubiese hecho. Llegamos por la tarde pero con todo el papeleo se hizo de noche y tuvimos que irnos al hotel. Al día siguiente por la mañana temprano bajamos a desayunar y enseguida nos pusimos en marcha para salir de visita por la Gran Manzana!
Es un sitio increíble, te puedes encontrar cualquier cosa y es absolutamente emocionante caminar por sus calles. Todo es exactamente como me lo imaginaba, no, es mejor! :) 
El Empire State Building tiene las mejores vistas, o las mejores que yo he visto :D Menos mal que tiene ascensor, porque tiene más de 80 plantas! Tiene un montón de recuerdos de películas y también muchas tiendas de regalos con todo tipo de cosas.  Por dentro, la decoración, puede parecer la de un edificio normal pero en realidad, tiene un montón de detalles, como vidrieras, cuadros con su nombre, representando diferentes épocas,... Y además es muy moderno, tiene una gran sala con una cortina verde en donde te puedes sacar fotos como si estuvieras en el tejado! Os dejo aquí una foto:

También visitamos la querida Estatua de la Libertad, The Statue of Liberty. sinceramente me la imaginaba más grande, pero la verdad, es que pasamos por delante con un catamarán, así que no pudimos presenciarla muy bien. Creo que es un gran monumento, inspira muchísimo porque representa el sueño Americano y todo lo que conlleva; con mucho esfuerzo se consiguen grandes cosas!
